CHILDREN from a Droitwich school are the latest among the future generation to learn about the complex needs of domesticated rabbits as part of Blue Cross’ plans to educate pet owners. Four, five and six-year-olds at the Ombersley Endowed First School were treated to an in-depth presentation by Blue Cross education officer, Jason Cortis on how best to look after pet bunnies. According to a recent PDSA report, 53 per cent of rabbit owners lack the necessary knowledge of their pets’ basic care needs. Sudbury wildlife center at capacity with baby birds, animals

Gloria Morissette doesn’t have to travel far to get to Turtle Pond Wildlife Center. The refuge can be found right in its backyard. She currently has over 200 wildlife animals under care, ranging from turtles and squirrels, to porcupines and birds. What people don’t realize is that the majority of those are orphans.
