Dangerous rabbit terrorizes neighborhood

PERRY, Iowa (KCCI) – People often think of bunnies as cute little creatures featured in Easter celebrations and county fairs. But what if one jumped up and bit you? I just got bit by a bunny.’” She said the bad…

The RSPCA has rescued more than 160 rabbits from one garage amid what it describes as a “rabbit crisis”. The owners, in Great Easton, Leicestershire, had started with just four rabbits but allowed them to breed out of control. Animal charities including the RSCPA say they are dealing with a huge influx in abandoned rabbits due to breeding and the cost-of-living crisis. They advise adopting rabbits rather than buying from breeders or pet shops. They also urge people to get rabbits neutered so they cannot breed, and so the females don’t get uterine cancer. RSPCA inspector Richard Durant, who helped…

How to deter rats: Three ‘effective’ ways to stop rats from entering your garden naturally

To prevent this, it is advised to block entry to areas beneath these – no matter how narrow the space. However, before doing this, ensure there are no rats living underneath the structure that is being blocked off, as “they will die an unpleasant death”, warned the experts. Households should also have a general clear up in their garden, getting rid of any debris and cutting back overgrown vegetation. This will provide rats with less cover. Even keeping the grass short…
